I bought an 8,at the time that was the biggest size they had, but I'm an 8.5. I liked the boots too much to pass up. So regarding they weren't my size, I bought them. When I received them, they were a perfect fit, even BIGGER than my foot! I was amazed. So to answer your question, yes. They absolutely do run big.
