I haven't worn them out yet, but wearing them around the house they have dug out any part of my foot. They are very slippery though, I suggest using some type of grip at the bottom. abigale m: Yes they are made from plastic material but the thong between the toe is a soft rubber. None N asked: If I wear a 61/2 should I get a 7? Stephanie L: I would definitely order a size 7. I am normally a size 8 1/2, but the 9 fits very comfortably since the sandals run only in whole sizes. You are going to really love these sandals! KANDIDA C: I wear a 6 1/2 and I bought a 7. There is a little room at the front. It doesn't look bad, but just to be safe you could stick with the 7.
