They're comfortable on the inside and pretty on the outside. Jenna B: It's really up to you. I tend to wear short socks, but they sometimes fall below your heel and that can get annoying and can cause pain because of the boot rubbing against your ankle. I would recommend wearing regular high socks if you plan on walking a great deal that day. JACQUE W: Wear what is comfie. When u plan on leaving them on, doesn't matter. Mine are slightly big so I wear a heavier sock. I live in Mich so in winter heavier is better. Very comfie. If you plan on removing them, plan ahead. Although it does fit barely, it is extremelyyyy snug around the calf and bottom of the knee. I have a wide foot and i think it fit fine for me, i was just so focused on the snug fit.
