I'm pretty tiny and they remind me of my tall ugg boots but a but more room around the top so it's perfect if you'd want to wear your pants and socks tucked in. Also, my daughter's pair arrived with 3 of the four sides damaged. The clasps that hold down the pull-on tabs toward the top are broken. C H: I would say that I have normal sized calves toned and defined though and they are not super roomy. There is enough space for my fingers to slide in to about the knuckle. Hope this helps! Brianne L: Totally depends on the look you are going for. I have wider calves, and they fit me pretty snug, so I would say for yours they would be a bit looser. I would actually have preferred them to be looser, so I could fit leg warmers and such in them. All in all though, great fit! Bt they fit and feel great to me I say go for it!!! I LOVE them & have been gettin compliments all day. You could also wear knee high socks or leg warmers to make you calf a little thicker & fuller that's what I do as well.
