Edward T: Well hello fellow shopper, yes I belive I too have a pair with swede bottom base which leads me to belive the same in reguards to a slip or fall, like with any shoe that's not slip resistant as a precausion I am going to have other bottoms put on those. In reguards the ones you are looking at they already have a rubber bottom base. I usually wear a 7, but in most my heels i get 7 1/2. The 7 FITS. I doubt if they'll stretch, so get a half size bigger if you're looking for that extra room.
