The boots were for my 16 year old daughter. She is 5 ft. 7. We feel the shaft would be too tall. The top of the boot comes just below her knee.
But if you really like them, give them a try, you can always return them.

Selina R: Yes, this fits true to size. I have it in a 6.5 and it is comfortable. No pinching or tight feeling. I would insert a heel cushion if you're concerned about walking for hours.

I think they're very comfortable. I've worn them throughout the entire day a couple times and don't have any complaints!
