William S: I don't think so as the "rear" area and the legs are pretty roomy, however the waist runs small. It turns out that the shorts are perfect for my daughter in the waist, but the rear and leg area is too big for her. They are really cute on aside from that, I plan on taking them to see if they can be altered to fit her. I think it would be very flattering for someone that can fill the roomier areas, but keep in mind the smaller waist, and also be aware that they are very very short! If you are uncomfortable with you inner thighs like me, they wouldn't be the best shorts. Good luck with whatever you decide to do and feel free to MSG me back if there's anything else.

FYI... I purchased a pair of black velour type shorts for my daughter as well... They are high waisted and there's a zipper up the entire front... Those would be flattering for any body style, as long as you don't mind the feel of the material. =

Michelle H: I got these in a size small. My jeans are usually size 0, 1, or 2 depending on the jeans; im really petite and i have a larger-than-average butt lol but these fit soooo well and really compliment the booty lol! so yes, they are true to size.
