I don't think I would risk getting them wet, the fabric isn't really suede, it's more of a faux fabric, very soft and comfortable but not true suede. I highly recommend them, I have received many compliments on them. Krista C: I really like these bootsI have not had any moisture on them yet so I am unsure how it will affect them . Any suede will be trashed if you get it wet. But as far as dress boots. I love them. Well made, sooo comfortable. For the price they are great! They also might not be warm enough in snow - they are not lined - more like fall boots not winter. madison m: So far my boots have not gotten ruined from water. I spilled something on them in one little spot but I can't even see it. I wouldn't wear them in the snow though, if you going to be walking around in wet spots. Moisture has not affected the suede but just because winter is approaching I put the spray-on waterproofing product you can find at any shoe store on my boots! I get so many compliments on them, so glad I bought them! They boot was very large fitting on the calf area though and I had to return them. If you have smaller calves I would consider another pair as my legs were swimming in them.
