Bianca W: When i bought these boots I didn't even pay attention to the shaft height' I just liked. Since you asked though...according to my measurements unfortunately GoJane I don't know how you guys measured them but the shaft is actually 6 inches not 10. The boot comes up to bottom of your calf just before your calf begins to form from the ankle up. Alyssa M: It's not 10 inches, it's about 7 1/2 inches. Error on their part, but the circumference is correct. There is just enough room for a wider foot if i needed that in my 7 1/2. I've worked in them already and my feet didn't hurt. They are warm, stable and most of all stylish. I looooooove wearing these with jeggings. You know how some shoes are cut big so when you wear your jeans inside the boot you get that clown look because your feet look huge Well these don't do that either. They are so cute and comfy, just as it looks on the pictures. My only problem was getting the "Taupe" for the 'Natural" that I wanted.
