Laura T: It is 4 inches on the heel. I would say go up a half size too, cause it does run small.

Tiffany P: they are pretty snug. Also, they are uncomfortable and higher than 4 inches like the description says. I would return but don't want to pay shipping.

Janis K: My feet are normally a size 8 and I bought a size 8.5 in these booties, and they fit absolutely perfect! Not loose, but not too snug either.

Kim A: The height is 4 inches, but since there is no platform on the shoe it feels MUCH higher. Wearing them for the first time was pretty painful without the platform, but after they were broken in they are pretty comfortable.
