But don't quote me on that. They are not a pliable soft leather. They are pleather so not a lot of stretch. The top of the boot behind the knee is elastisized so it's got some stretch but the sole itself I would get the 6 Chelsea O: I am also between a 5-6 and I ordered the 6 just to be safe and it fits great! It's not form fitting, but they don't look bulky either Autumn T: Its bigger than typical aldo for example but I like some room. charlotte M: See My calves are big so there a little Tight I really like my boots you Probably can't wear some socks I put my arm in it see if it will fit and it's not bad so I would take a chance victoria s: my calf is about 13 inches i measured a little below the knee. they don't fit tight but there not loose either. Kyra B: I have thin calves too and the calf feels nice and snug around me, not tight but loose enough so that I can wear thick socks in the winter. the upper part of the boot is looser but you want that so you can bend your knees comfortably. Katana W: The boots fit perfectly..I don't think your think calves will be a problem. Brittany M: There's alot of room in the calf area, I have pretty thick calves and there's still room so if your someone with thinner calves, they wouldn't be snug Jordanna G: I have thin calves and these fit semi-snug with skinny's on. P M: The fit is great. My calves are also thin. The biggest complaint is the boots smell like gasoline. I haven't been able to wear them because of the smell. Such a waste of money. Tyra M: Okay, to figure out how tall it would be on YOU - you need to measure from the bottom of your foot up 19 inches. These 19' inches are STANDARD, and will stop at different heights on different people. Like 19' inches to a 5"2 person, wouldn't be the same as someone who is almost 6" feet.
