After a little while they bunch a tiny bit at the ankle but all boots do that as it softens when you walk. I am normally a 7 1/2 and they were too big on me so I think a 7 would have worked better. Even with socks on, they're still way too big. Felicia G: I have wide calves and these boots fit me fine. I did think there was a zipper closer when I bought them but they are just pull on. Usually I have trouble with that but these boots went on fine and fit well. I love them!!!!! Penney M: I have average calves and I have no issue. Lexie M: I'm 5'4 and got a 6.5. The top is about 2 inches below my knee. I just measured and from heel/floor to the top of the boot and it measures 15" high. I say grab a measuring band and see where that ends up on your leg. These are so comfortable and I got a compliment on them first time wearing. Good luck!
