Not as much as seen in the picture unless the majority of your height is your legs, like the model. It only came about half an inch or so above the knees. The "suede" fringe boots are a very good fit for me with or without socks or leggings and I got size 10. i am five foot seven. I can wear 9's but usually order size 10 especially in boots Socks you know. I actually think the size 9 might fit me as well.
