My calves are a bit big and they are snug, If your calves don't usually fit than they may be too tight. I have found them comparable to most that I wear. Faira M: im 5'9 with small calves and these boots come up really high like at your knee so theres probalaby another inch and a half or 2 inches still around the leg. And I tried to fold the top part down but it doesn't really work too well. The boots scuff pretty easily but the marks can come off using an eraser.
