As to the issue of the height of the shoe, if you normally only wear one to two inch heels these shoes may take some practice. The platform absolutely makes these shoes easier to walk in but you are still elavated quite a bit. So if you get them you may need to walk around your house and practice not teetering over! Don't let the shoes fool you, sometimes they are tough to slide into them but just unlace them a little and your good to go.
