GoJane S: This item is not real suede, but is made of man-made synthetic material that mimics a suede finish. Anea J: No it's not but you won't be upset because they are uber cute and ultra comfortable. They look exactly as they do online, in person. Sara D: So it's like quality faux suede? Anea J: Exactly. These boots do not look cheap but they are not heavy enough to be authentic suede. People probably won't be able to tell unless they are like rubbing on your boots or something strange like that. Anea J: The fringes are layed down Tracy R: Yes, the fringes lay down flat... I was so tempted to answer that they stand out like a perfect flower in full bloom. But I can see you are serious. Myra S: Yes, the boots arrive in tissue paper and the fringes have a tissue paper band wrapped around them. So your fringes will be laying down perfectly flat right out of the shoe box. If your fringes on your boots ever get out of place or bent a little, simply steam iron them lightly to straighten them out. The suede is really nice and velvety.You can brush them if they get lint on them. This is a really well made boot and the stitches really make them look expensive. Really nice warm cloth lining in the boots so you don't freeze in the winter. I love they have a non-slip rubber sole so I can wear my boots on icy days. Overall good buy and doesn't look cheap. None N asked: are these boots true to size and how many more size 10's do you have? Anea J: The boots are true to size but I am only 5'2" and they are not as high as they appear to be online. I was expecting them to come to my knees but these boots leave me with 3/4 an inch to my knee. So if you are at least 5'5", they may only stop mid-calf.
