I put them back in the box & sent them back. Jackie H: I have wide feet too and honestly they fit like your normal heel so yes they do squeeze a little but they are so cute!!!! Candice B: I have a narrow foot and purchased this in an 8. The ankle portion is too wide for my foot and has a zip closure so it's not adjustable. It also has an elastic band for extra wide ankles. There is also a good amount of toe room so pinching should not be a problem. Lisa T: I have the same issue, I'm an 8.5 so with strait heels I tend to do an 8 so they're not tight on my toes. I have narrow feet and typically wear an 8 but with zipped back shoes I get a 7.5 for a more exact fit and less slipping. But I absolutely love these shoes. BRENDA J: Yes, they are comfortable. Sheneille T: To answer your question correctly, starting with the size 8.5 the fit would be too small. Your toes will definitely be hanging in front. With the size 10 you will have that big space in the back that you don't need.
