ErinBlythe S: Nope, more like a faux suede. They are super comfy and didn't require any breaking in! Rachel F: its suede like material with contrasting shiny patent leather detail. not stretchy though NICOLE P: No it's just a thick fabric. The only downfall is that they run large. I could have used a half size smaller. Otherwise great shoe M A: Not stretchy. It is firm and has a microsuede outer texture. I'm sure they would be much too wide for a slim foot.
