They were quite loose on me. I can't recall the specific dimensions; I bought these in white to wear to an all-white party, then threw them out the next day when they were a filth gray! The inside of the boots have a very soft and feathery texture. The sole is also pretty thick so you won't feel as though your walking on the ground barefoot. Last years style were made of faux wool, but it was very soft. I do not wear socks in the boot and they are still fluffy and nice. I do not find them irritating at all.
