GoJane S: The only information we do receive on our boots is included in the Product Description that is located to the right of each item on our site. Generally the average size around the calf area for juniors boots is around 14 inches.
Theresa L: Sorry there, had a typo- 35.5cm. And I bought a size 8 for these, I fall between 8 & 8.5 for most shoes.
Theresa L: I just measured mine: 14 inches 25.5 cm circumference from the top of the boot. I haven't had any problems with the calf sizing on these. In fact they are big enough for me to wear skinny jeans with and still fit perfectly fine.

I concern with them was that they are not that warm and they lasted just one winter.

Disha P: These are made from suede, not leather. The quality is pretty decent for the price and because of this, you're not afraid to wear them or ruin them. They look really nice, especially the red.

Myrtise S: No! These are strictly fashion boots. They are not padded or insulated for long treks or hiking. They offer no support. They 're just cute. Not for rain snow or long walks!!!
Alexander A: These boots are very comfortable and not to mention stylishlove em' but I wouldn't recommend hiking for a long period of time.
Ebony W: The boots are quite comfy, but I'm not so sure they're strong enough to handle the terrain of hiking. I've never been hiking, but they may be okay.

Disha P: These are extremely comfortable, but I won't recommend them for hiking. They are more "fashion sturdy" than "hiking sturdy". The upper part is soft suede and while very stylish, does not protect from extreme weather or extreme activity.

Suelan T: There is good grip at the bottom, but definitely not for hiking. The sole is just good enough so that you don't slip and slide around the mall or where ever you may be going to indoors. Comfy and fashionable though.
Malissa D: they are a great boot for looks but, as far as hiking, i wouldn't hike in them. they are thin boots and though the grip is pretty good, i won't hike in them. plus when you first get them they are very stiff. hope that helped!

Theresa L: I had this exact same brand, colorbrown and style of boot about 5 years ago and they lasted me a good solid 2 years and then some. I wore them through two snowy winters. If you spray them, you're good to go.
Rachel U: If you weather-proof them with a spray I think they would be great for the snow. They have really nice treads.

Rachel U: It's a weather proofing spray, you should be able to find it at any shoe store or at department stores in the shoe section. I'm not sure of an exact brand.
Teri C: I wouldn't wear them in the snow... They are all man-made materials and just aren't made for bad weather... I love them though. They are so cute and the sole has a good grip. Very comfortable.... Adorable!
Chardae J: They're very durable so far. I haven't experienced much snow yet because Pittsburgh weather is unpredictable but they're warm and I haven't fell on ice yet. They're a nice quality for the price.

Nelly S: Not only reach the mid-calf, yesterday I received them, I really feel so disappointed that I will return, are not comfortable soles are hard and very dangerous ... imagine that is velvet and rubber only on the edge

LUCILLE J: To answer your question; 'no' they're not waterproof, but with the material they're made of your feet should not get wet. The bottom of the boot is pretty tough and it is very comfortable. I just received mine the other day and when I put it on my feet, I did not want to take it off. I so love these boots and I am definitely sure you will too!
