If I had known that, I would not have purchased them. The cuff can be pulled up, or worn down, as shown in the picture. The cuff is a bit on the wide side. Alyssa L: They are knee-high but you can fold them over to make them normal length. I really like mine and still wear them! The only problem is the heels started coming off just after a few uses and I had to superglue them back in place and some of the glue got on the show and dried white so it kind of looks funny but it's not that noticeable. I usually get compliments still when I wear the boots : Meghan M: They can be knee high if the cuff is up, but if it is down they sit right below the knee. The cuff is pretty big but it doesn't stick out too much. The cuffs on the top are kind of big but everytime I wear them I get compliments. However I have only had them a month and some of the sole is coming off on one of the heels. It's small enough that shoe repair glue will fix it, but it was annoying ha.
