E G: I love carnaval ...all the jumping and whining and I believe these will be comfortable for the occassion. these boots wear like sneakers i've worn them to work during my ten hour days my daughters to school for about eight hours never had complaints or was in a rush to take off. only concern i have for you is if you will need to go up an 1/2 a size for extra comfort in the toe area for extra wiggle room also this boot is lined on the inside with faux fur so u may not want to wear socks either. good luck and enjoy yourself ps wear them for a little and dance in them before you go to break them in S E: I don't know about a 10 hour march but they are super comfy they should fit your calfs you can make them tighter if they dont and they are super cute with skirts: T M: I beleive that these boots will do just fine for your march. The material felt soft and the underneath/wedge has a rubber like grip. I bought a 1/2 size bigger because I wanted to wear socks but the boots are true to size meaning if you wear a 7 then buy 7 unles you plan to wear socks. Even though it is already comfortably soft on the inside. well worth the price. Latarsha J: Rubberlike material....the wedge is made on rubberlike material and the boot is suede.
