Not sure, when I ordered the dress in the XXL for some reason I thought that it was a XXL to fit a teenager because my measurements were bigger then the measurements for the XXL in the size chart. When I received the dress it was pretty big I ended up returning it awesome/easy return policy and ended up going with a different style dress that I ordered in a LG and was a much better fit. If you decide to go with this dress fyi there is a bust line or seam not sure what its called but if your top heavy like I'am those type of dresses usually don't work out for me and also the ruffle thing on the shoulder is very,very present big then what the picture makes it out to be. In this dress and others like it I get a 2X and it fits perfect. I guess it depends on how you are bulit. I'm a 44C 46 with bra and 49" in the hips. I'm thirty something in the middle. However the split in the middle is pretty high, so I recommend that you wear stockings with this dress. I loved the dress and received lots of compliments.
