I have not had a problem yet with them stretching out. They are very comfortable and easy to slip on. I have about a 1/8 of an inch of room all around the edge of the shoe between my skin. They are loose but not uncomfortably so. I have about a 1/2 inch of room from my big toe to the tip of the shoe with the size 9. None N asked: i have ordered an 8 from gojane before but for some tall black suade boots. The 8 JUST FIT and felt even alittle too small. Should i go with the 8 in these then if they run big? R A: I purchased a 7.5 and my feet are generally true to size. Every shoe I have bought from Gojane about 5 or 6 pairs has been a 7.5 and have not felt too big or too small. I think if u get an 8 you should be fine. I would suggest finding a pair of similar shoes and trying them on. I purchased similar shoes from payless and had to go up to an 8 bc of the way it fit my foot. I was worried when I purchased these I would have the same issue but I did not.
