Megan W: When I purchased this dress I bought a size large. I was wearing a 34D bra at the time my waist was 29 and hips were probably closer to a 36. I had to get the bust taken in... and the corset part in the back would help with the hips. I had mine as tight as it would go. As for the color I think that any of those colors would work with your skin and hair. I had a dark tan and dark brown hair and went with the burgundy and ABSOLUTELY loved it. Great dress! Great price! Highly Recommend!

Bethany C: I would get a medium. The size chart was way off, at least in the bigger sizes. My measurements are 46", 39", 49", so not even on the size chart, but I took a chance and ordered the 3x. It was too big. I should have bought a 2x. I suggest going by the specific size chart for prom dresses.

Megan W: I can not say the EXACT measurement of the Large but I can say that it fits like a size 8 dress. I am 5'3 and 145lbs and I had to take the dress in to get altered for the length. She took in a good 5 inches at least for me. I hope this helps some!

Stephanie H: If you know roughly what size you are, then you should be fine in picking a size or two bigger or smaller. The lace up back gives you leverage in the size because it can expand or contract to fit your body.

Jamie P: I got this dress in an XS and I was worried it might be a little tight, however the dress runs pretty true to the size chart, so as long as your measurments are the same as, or close to, the measurments on the size chart you should be good to go!

M S: If you can afford to do so, I would suggest that you purchase 2 sizes and then return the one that doesn't fit.

M S: i can suggest that you go with you normal clothing size i did and it was a perfect fit all over

B A: When i followed the sizing chart, the size was right.

T A: The XS is for someone that wears a 1-2, small would be 3 -4, and so on

U S: I'm pear shaped and always have to measure myself and compare them to Go Jane's measurements. This is my second dress I have ordered from Go jane and it has fit great other then the length because I'm 5'5. If all else fails, keep all the tags and packaging and send it back. Good luck!!!

D R: The color we chose was purple, very purple with a blue tint. The purple dress color was true to the picture online, we were surprised by the blue tint. Very pretty dress.

Gretchen T: I can't comment on the color since I ordered it in turquoise, but I can say that the dress is absolutely beautiful. You will not be disappointed in the style.

S W: It more of a navy to me but one thing I can say about this dress is my daughter worn it to her junior prom and nobody had it on. She was the envy of her prom

Danielle P: I would go for the medium if you werent willing to get it altered. if you want to play it safe and were expecting to get it altered at all i would go for the large.. its easier to get it taken in but its not that easy to make it bigger. im also a D cup and ordered a size bigger than I normally would just to be safe and it surprisingly fits perfectly everywhere but the bust. the bust is a little big but the tie up back fixed that problem.

Gretchen T: I'd say your ok with the medium. One of the nice things about this dress is that it laces up the back so you can tighten or loosen as needed. This is a beautiful dress, you will not be disappointed. Hope this helps!

M S: I think a medium would be good for your hips and waist but not sure about the bust. If you can do it, I would suggest ordering both a medium and a large, trying them on at home with the undergarments you would wear with the dress, and then returning the one that doesn't fit. That's what I did with my daughter's dress because we weren't sure what size she needed. Returning it was no problem. I was out the cost of shipping the return but did get a full refund on the dress itself.

Angela O: No this gown runs a little small. I am 5'3 " and weigh approximately 150 lbs and I wear a large in this gown due to the fact that I am a little larger than a medium across the chest, I hope this helps.

Melody H: We followed the measurement guidelines on the website and ordered a size medium for my daughter. A week later when the dress arrived I knew my instincts were right. We should have gone with the small. In the local dress stores she was fitting nicely into a size 2. I hope my answer helps.

D R: This dress size was selected to fit bust size, yes it fit true for bust measurement. The corset feature in the back has allowed for the excess in the waist, but we may still have some small alterations to make nothing huge. My daughter was thrilled with the fit and can't wait for prom in May. She's beautiful in the dress.

M S: Yes. My daughter is very petite, 5'1", A-cup bra, 100 lbs., and the XS fits her like a dream. The only thing we had to do was have it hemmed because it was way too long for her, but we expected to have to do that.

I donno if ill be any help : I wear an extra small but I purchased a size Small this is going to be my wedding dress so I got it a size bigger so on my big day it will fit if I gain weight, if not ill have it taken in Im 5'2 and the dress was super long and will have to have it taken up. Im normally an extra small and found that the Small wasnt that much bigger then me.... If your a size small im sure that it would fit no problem. the top is the thick material with a light padding... I love the dress and have no complaints :D

T A: I bought an XS for my daughter who wears a perfect 1-2. She is 5'1" and weighs 105 lbs. That dress was a little big through the hips but no one would ever know. It's beautiful is real life.

M S: I bought a small and extra small for my daughter because we weren't sure how GoJane's sizes run. My daughter is very petite: 5'1", 95 pounds, A cup bra. The extra small fits her like a dream, so we returned the size small without even trying it on. The only alteration we have to do to the dress we kept is having it shortened. If the dress fits you well in all areas except the bust, you may want to consider having that part of it altered. Tailors can work wonders on making things fit.
