LaPorscha C: Yes, the bottom part of the dress is not tight on the legs. It would make a great costume dress.

You could definitely convert this into a dance costume and be able to move freely in it. I wore this dress for a grad and I even pinned the bottom of the dress up with safety pins to make it shorter. It's very easy to self-alter if you wanted to pick the bottom of the dress up last minute for convienicnce of your high kicks, etc. Aside from all of that it is a great material and fits exceptional!

K G: I think you would be able to kick your leg up in this dress. The dress is full at the bottom and rather short in lenght.

D A: Also, when I ordered, the ruffles in back were undone ans sagging. I also didn't receive the scarf with my purchase. I sent it back and requested a fixed one. They sent me a new one and included the scarf the second time around, but the ruffles were still undone in back. I am trying to have my friend's mom fix it. All in all, I find this dress beautiful. The corset in back does NOT adjust very much. You can make the dress a little tighter by pulling the strings tight, but you cannot make the dress looser. The "corset like" strings are attached over the already closed-backed dress. Even when you loosen the strings, the material behind them the actual dress material, is not going to loosen. When you loosen laces on a shoe, the whole shoe loosens; this in not the case with the dress. Tightening actually may crumple the material behind it up. The corset is more for just looks. Another note, the dress goes nearly down to my knees. I am 5' 2" and a half. The dress is so short on the model because she is tall.

D A: Well, according to the size chart, I should have been able to fit into a size small. Size small was a little hard to zip over my rib cage and chest. Due to this, I am unable to wear a bra with it because I need as much room as possible. Once zipped, it is comfortable. My advice is that if your measurements fit a certain size on the size chart, but your chest is a little larger than the average female your size, go one size up.

R A: I have not actually worn it yet, but I don't think it will be any more uncomfortable than other formal dresses. Upon trying the dress on, it felt good, however I could see where sitting might be weird with the bubble style bottom.

D E: Yes it was comfortable, but the dress was short in length and not what I expected. All in all, It was a pretty dress and had many compliments re: style & color red.

N O: It is comfortable.

Elizabeth C: For a "formal" dress, it's pretty comfi. The underneath material is a little scratchy, but not overly so.

D A: I think peri is similar to lilac lavender, but I personally got a teal one, so I am not positive. It looks like a light lavender color to me.
