R B: you can buy a 9.5, but it may feel a tight, so i would suggest a 10. i'm an 8, but i bought an 8.5 just to be safe & they have quite a bit of space in them J B: I also wear a 9.5. I bought a 10 just to be safe and to have wiggle room; they fit just fine. I wear them with semi-thick socks also. You should be ok with buying a 9.5. if you want a proper fit. I love these boots! I bought these in November and I love them. Though my calves are not large this boot is very roomy and comfortable. G R: Im not sure what the circumference is exactly but the calf part is very wide. My mom has large calfs and fit the boot N E: I think this boot is perfect for people with larger calfs because it was wider than my other boots on mine. Normally my daughter isn't able to wear my boots because she has large calfs but unfortunately she is able to wear these boots comfortably. P E: I bought the boot a while back and I really like it. I wear it the most among all my shoes. You don't need to worry about it fitting your calves, it's wide and comfortable.
