S N: There is no elastic in the top of this dress, it's more of a "pleated" look. It's really a great dress. I recommend it!! The eggplant purple is gorgeous in person.

S N: My daughter is 5'10" tall and wears a size 12L in jeans from Old Navy; she wears a medium in shirts. We ordered the XXL 15/16 last year due to the measurements given on the GoJane site. The dress was large through the bust my daughter is a 36B cup size, but we were concerned more about the waist / hip area. The dress ran very true to size. This is the dress my daughter is wearing again this year and it still looks GREAT!!!
