Beth p: I bought it for my very skinny 13 yo daughter. In an xs. I had to get it taken in on the strap. Other than that it fit her well. She is very petite. I got her a shrug to wear over in a matching material and it looked like it was custom and very expensive. D A: As I am not tall, the dress fits me easily and it is above the knee. I found the dress as I saw it in Gojane. K H: The dress is pretty short. I tried wearing spanx underneath and that helped to keep it from riding up. You might want to consider ordering an xs and small to be able to get the fit you want. I did that for my dress and they were really good about crediting back the returned dress. Hope that helps. The fabric has a decent weight to it and it does provide support because of the spandex. S U: No.... there is no padding. W F: No, there's not. Marijo P: There is lining in the dress, and the material itself while stretchy and fitting, also was a nice quality so not see through or chintzy looking. My daughter was nervous buying on line w/o trying but absolutely loved and we still hear compliments on how gorgous this dress was she got in plum. Very pleased with the quality and how nice it was, especially where very reasonably priced. M I: There is no padding. You will have to wear a strapless bra with the dress. None N asked: how is the sizing of this dress which size L I: It's super stretchy...so depending on how snug you want it...you could go with either...its a really beautiful dress...i think its suitable for prob...the fabric is a bit thin though... S U: The sizing chart is accurate to size. The dress is very fitting to the body so I would think for the bust and waist you stated the small would be a great fit. In my opinion, it would be suitable for a prom. We were very pleased with this dresses quality and fit. Hope this helps! W F: Sizing is pretty accurate. I am 5'4, 115 lbs, 34DD. I normally get smalls or xs in dresses-I got a small in this one and found that it was a little tight under the arm with the beading attached, but other than that it was fight. The dress is the length that it is in the picture, however it does ride up a bit because of the ruching. It's a very cute dress but I'm not sure if it's dressy enough for prom-my prom was VERY dressy. But if yours isn't quite as dressy, pairing this with fancy earrings and shoes it might work perfectly. But overall it is a very cute dress got it in purple for new years.
