K P: I am 5'1" so it was a great length for me. Also my cousin is 5'2" and it was perfect length on her too. Howver my sister is 5'5" and she has really long legs so this dress was way to short on her. I wore the smallest size they have and it fit perfect. I weigh 109 lbs and usually wear an XS or size 3

G O: I bought this dress for my daughter that is usually a size 0-1. We got her the xsmall and still had to have it tHen in by a seamstress. They run big so I would stick with a small.
It fell right between the knee and thigh, it was a good length, not too shortand she is about you height. Hope this helps!

The construction was wonderful, it is very well made and with excellent bust support. We still used a strapless bra, but it endured many opera performances for our leading lady! This dress was purchased for my daughters jr prom. It's a beautiful dress and fit perfect, with a minor adjustment to tighten the bust area. She is a littlle heavy in there. The fit was perfect. It is "true" to size. Order the dress the size you normally wear and it will fit perfectly.

Cathy B: hmm! I would think that it would be too short. My daughter was only 5"2 and not having really long legs and is like a toothpick. I thought any shorter it would have been too short, but I'm the mom, lol! IO just measured it, from the bust to the first silky layer it's 22 and to the mesh it measures 24'. Hope this helps.

C I: This is a great dress. It is indeed very, very short. We put it over a layered net tutu style skirt that was waltz length. It was so short it worked well as a peplum, I would worry about dancing in it. For your big event you may want to not have to worry about exposure! It does have a nice flare to the skirt for a curvy girl figure. The beading on the top is fabulous and has lots of bust support...though it is wise to wear a strapless bra with it. Go Jane has lots of great choices!

K P: I bought this dress for a semi-formal dance and I'm also going to wear it to a wedding. It is an absolutely stunning dress. It fits great and I got so many compliments on it. I would highly recommend you purchase this dress.

C I: We purchased this dress for an opera performance. It was worn over a net skirt to capture the look of the 1950's "New Look". The underskirt was waltz length so the top dress was a perfect shorter length for the top tier. The quality of this dress was great....money well spent!

C I: It does sort of depend on your bra cup size. It seems it is really a b to c cup. The person who wore it when we purchased it was a b cup and she had room in it. I think the XS would be the best choice, as it is so well made and beaded so well, alterations taking it in would be very difficult and expensive.

K E: The dress is pretty short but my daughter is tall and it was about mid thigh and the top is strapless so it is a little revealing. We had to have it altered so it would fit better. She used it for semi formal. It is a gorgeous dress though awsome color really cool bead work! Hope this helps

Im about 5'0 foot and I got the xs and it was fine. Nothing showing and got alot of compliments. I don't think you'll be unconfortable at all and be showing anything if that's what you're worried about. It's a classy yet stylish dress and I think you will love it.

itsa great length for prom tho. if i were you i would get a small, i should of got a x-small.

C I: I purchased this dress for an opera at our major University. We actually used it over a wonderful net skirt a long tutu in the burgundy/berry colors. Our singer is 5' 4" and not that long legged. It is pretty short and we commented on the fact it would be difficult to sit down in...modestly. BUT, that said, it is so beautifully made, the sequins and beads are fabulous. We were doing a late 50's early sixties Mad Men approach to the design of our show.
It has excellent support in the bust and fits well.
I highly recommend many of the gowns from Gojane!

L J: Loved the dress! Didn't love the sizing : I used the sizing chart and order exactly what my measurements indicated; however, the dress was almost a size too large and I had to have it altered. Alterations were a bit problematic with all the beading. I would recommend ordering a size smaller than indicated.

L E: I did...it is even prettier in person! We did have to exchange it for a smaller size though, it ran a little larger than their size chart.
