Questions about this itemLia M asked: Is this dress true to size I realize that my measurements are for 3XL, I usually wear sizes 12 - 14. That is far off from the sizing chart. I am not sure if i should order according to the chart or what I accustomed to wearing. So, is it true to size Please help Jessica B: The dress runs a little big. I got a size 10 and usually wear a size 8...I had to get it altered. Also, if you want it to be more form fitting, you'll have to get it altered. Jihan W: I'm a 14 to 16 and I got the 1XL and it fit. I'm 5'5" with bigger boobs but not much hips. I think you can get a size smaller for a 12 to 14 or just get the 1XL to be safe, it's very easy to get altered. L U: When i ordered this dress it was very true to size. It fit me exaxtly. Not a lot of room to move or breath much. I would go a size bigger if i could go back. Qadira P: I ordered a large for a wedding and it was huge. I normally wear a size 6. I took it to a tailor and cut it up about 3in above the knee. Im 5 foot and it was below my knees. G A: That option is not available, but the dress does come with a shawl of the same material as the dress. I made straps out of that. I cut it to the size I wanted it, and then I bought some double sided iron-on ahesive tape. I used the tape to seal the straps. It was a quick and easy project. I suggest doing the same thing. JESSICA S: no it doesnt come with straps but with a shall. i have bought that dress and its the best purchase i ever did. it hold the bust very well. S N: No...Mine came with two satin cords that I guess could be used as straps...but you'd have to sew them in...so I would say no, this is simply a strapless dress T A: No, but you won't regret the dress, the sash/bow hides all flaws. It is a bit long on me, so I am going to get it shortened an inch or two before the wedding, but otherwise it's a great purchase, especially for the price! Hope this was helpful! I suppose compared to other bridesmaid dresses, the price is good.. but if given another chance, I would not have chosen it. I am not curvy at all, and I the dress would look better if you have curves. Otherwise it looked boxy on me. That is why I had it tailored, and after that, I loved it.
