jen b: The belt is not attached. There are a few little string loops it fits through on the dress. I didn't use the belt. I don't know what material it is made from, but it is cheap. All in all the dress is very cute and I would buy it again, but you're definitely getting what you pay for, a cheap dress with loose stitching. Also, from the pictures I thought it was shorter than it really is. I'm 5'4", size small, had 4" heels on and it perfectly touched the floor.

T A: Yes! I bought it for my stepdaughter for a military ball. It fit perfectly and looked beautiful. We didn't have to get any alterations.

Shasta W: Im 5'6 and this dress fit be perfect in the length when i wore flats. If i would have worn heels of at the most 3inches it still would have been fine. I think in this picture it shows shoes because the model is wearing what appears to be at least 5inch heels.

Marcia N: The smaller sizes do seem to be shorter than the larger. I bought my daughter a size 4 and it was too short for her, she is 5-9. I bought a size 6 and the length was fine for her.

Melissa G: The dress is not metallic at all, in my opinion. I purchased the ivory one and it is absolutely gorgeous. The sizing is very accurate as well. I chose this dress for my wedding, actually and I made a few slight alterations to the gathers and added a pretty ribbon to the back lace-up part to personalize it a bit more. I am totally satisfied with it!

K E: I purchased the orange one. It does have a bit of an iridescence to it and that could make the black look metalic. I don't think the orange one looks metalic.
