I ordered the dress and had a friend take a picture of me in it. No undergarments showed up on camera. However, when I stood in front of my full length mirror I could see the outline of my underwear. I think it would be fine with a slip underneath, but this dress has spaghetti straps so I have to try to find a strapless slip which so far everything I've found costs more than the dress did or just return the dress.
