How do I love thee? Let me count the ways....

When I saw these on the website, I thought the cost be darned (I've spent way more on a pair of shoes/boots) I MUST possess these shoes. I MUST. No thought to where I would wear them, what I would wear them with, I ordered with pure emotion throwing all caution to the wind, purchasing with pure abandon and joy! I was not disappointed :) I ordered a size up because of the almond shaped toe and the stacked heel. I'm a solid 8 and ordered a 9. Perfect fit (except for my ankles but that fit too). They are stunning. Gorgeous. Amazing. Incredible. Awe Inspiring. I was speechless except for breathing out an 'ohhhhhh'...... They do come up over the knee much higher than I would have liked but with jeggings and a furry jacket in the same color and some gold jewelry will be sexy sexy sexy....I felt like Wonder Woman in them!
Pros:Well made. I could tell immediately these were not going to fall apart after a few wearings. Same with the beading on the back of the boot. The studs and beads on the back are just stunning and gorgeous. I can already hear myself convincing myself that I seriously might need the black one day because who doesn't need black boots? They are really classy looking despite how high up the thigh they go. They are so beautiful. My co-workers are so in love with all my new shoes we are going in and putting in a big order on Friday. I can't wait! They love GoJane shoes!
Cons:Go up a size - not a half size - a whole size. The nude is not a nude color - it is a rosy, pale pink. Very classy but not a nude. I would have much preferred the nude (as much as I adore pink) because I can wear the nude color with so much more. But alas, I'll still wear them plenty! (Hmmmm, wonder if they can be dyed? probably not...these are not expensive, high end shoes but don't get me wrong, I'm THRILLED with my purchase and so far the quality for the price.) Again, as in my previous post about the Menthol heels, not real suede and not water proof. These will take some effort and I might even take them to a cobbler to have them done professionally. This is too much boot to do myself and I don't want to mess up all the studs and bead work on the back. I am hoping my GoJane shoes hold up for a season. I don't expect much more - then again, if anyone remembers Dots...I have boots from them (they have since gone out of business) and I'm still wearing them and they look brand new! Go figure. I will just have to wear them and see what happens. Let's hope they last!
